I've had lots of birthdays lately to make cards for, so at least I'm getting the chance to play along with a few challenges. This week Keesh has given us an Inspiration Challenge. I needed to make a card for my dad and these colours are quite manly. I even managed to incorporate 2 silver brads into the card to go with the spoon in the picture. Without further ado (how old fashion does that sound), here is the inspirational photo and my card. Thanks for looking and a big thanks to Gina for the use of some of the stamps and punches used here at her open stamping night on Monday.
Supplies Used -
Card stock: Creamy Caramel, More Mustard, Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Paper: Prints DSP Certainly Celery, DSP Afternoon Tea
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Stamps: Sanded Background Stamp, Loads of Love, Grants clear stamps - Birthday
Other: 2 silver brads, chocolate ribbon, round tab punch, photo corner punch, paper peircer, watercolour pencils.

Hey Chooky... your card looks great, I bet your Dad will love it... You've worked the colours from the challenge really well... Trac...
A lovely way to use the colours. A great masculine card - I like it a lot!
You are so good with your time! I've only cut out the woven basket Gina had the eggs in on Monday night. You're a wizz!!!
That card looks very much like your Dad. He'll love it!
Have fun on Fraser!
Hey Melly, that 2nd basket I did was just with a piece of coloured paper and it took less than 5 mins. It took longer to take a pic and put it on here and as for the card, I did that while waiting to be able to do Ky's last feed last night. I'm not really good with my time at all. I should put more time into the gardens and other cleaning chores. Have a great time at Teewah. See you after Easter.
great guy card - I have this stamp set too but yet to use it...this will make me want to start using it!
This is a great card I love it. Fantastic man card, something I do struggle with but you have nailed it here......

HI,
I liked your card on first sight. Its always great to see how other people use the same sets you have and I think you did a great job.
